Michael Cimino’s schedule is filling up fast.

Netflix has confirmed to E! News that the star of Love, Victor, which aired its third and last season on June 15, has joined the cast of Netflix’s fourth and final season of Never Have I Ever.

Streamers say Cimino will portray Ethan, as a “skateboarder and new heartthrob” at Sherman Oaks High School. We have a sneaking suspicion that this hottie may also be a heartbreaker.

Season three of the drama, which also stars Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Poorna Jagannathan, and Darren Barnet, is yet to release on Netflix, so fans will have to wait a little longer to watch Cimino in action. These new episodes will be released on August 12th.

Kaling offered a straightforward explanation when asked why she wanted Never Have I Ever to finish after four seasons.

In April, she told Entertainment Tonight, “Four seasons for a high school show felt like it made sense.” As the saying goes, “High school can’t last forever.”

The good news for Michael Cimino fans isn’t over yet.

A two-episode special called B-Loved will premiere around Valentine’s Day in 2023, according to HBO Max, which confirmed the news to E! News.

According to the streamer, “the special centers around Bea (List), a free-spirited adolescent ghost who strikes a close friendship with the new kid in town, Cole (Cimino).” A mystical ring will allow Cole to see Bea, and they’ll rediscover what it means to be alive and what it means to let go.

To E! News Love, Victor ended earlier this year, Cimino remarked on the importance of hearing about the show’s impact on fans’ personal stories and journeys.

“Because it was a catalyst for my decision to come out to my family, or because I watched the program with my mom and it changed her outlook on the world for the better,” he said, “the ones that mean the most to me.” All I want to do is that.”

All three seasons of Love, Victor are currently streaming on Hulu as we wait for Never Have I Ever season four to premiere and B-Loved to premiere.
